Sun Le Dr CEO
A renowned expert in the evaluation of immunogenicity of biopharmaceuticals, he holds a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and completed his postdoctoral work at Oregon State University in the United States. He is also an adjunct professor at Beijing Normal University and an executive committee member of the China Association of Biotechnology Innovation Services (ABO). He studied under Professor G. Sato, a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and one of the inventors of monoclonal antibody drugs, as well as Professor Nanming Zhao, former dean of the School of Life Sciences and Medicine at Tsinghua University. He was a production manager and research director at Upstate Biotech, NY, USA.
In 2000, he co-founded A&G Pharmaceuticals in the United States with a startup capital of $250,000. Within 18 months, he signed a contract with MedImmune/AstraZeneca for the co-development of a new antibody drug for the treatment of breast cancer and other diseases, securing $2.3 million in investment and achieving a market value of $12 million. The therapeutic antibody drug is currently in clinical trials.
Li Maohua Dr Vice President of Research and Development
He holds a Ph.D. from China Agricultural University and has successively served as the Director of Technology, Vice President of Research and Development, and General Manager at Beijing Tiancheng Biotechnology. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led his research team to develop the first mouse monoclonal antibody specifically targeting the SARS-CoV-2 virus in just 25 days, setting a new world record for the speed of monoclonal antibody development. Under his leadership, the team also developed several vaccine-specific and drug-specific antibodies and diagnostic test kits. His research achievements have been published multiple times in top-tier journals in the fields of infectious diseases, such as Clinical Infectious Diseases, in the field of vaccines, such as Vaccine, and in the field of immunological methods, such as Journal of Immunological Methods.
